Pepper Jelly & Cream Cheese Pinwheels

Festive Tortilla Rolls with a Sweet-and-Spicy Twist

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup pepper jelly
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro)
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling
    In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  2. Assemble the Pinwheels
    Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the tortilla.
  3. Add the Toppings
    Spoon a thin layer of pepper jelly over the cream cheese. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and sliced bell peppers.
  4. Roll and Chill
    Tightly roll the tortilla into a log. Repeat with the remaining tortillas. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

 

 

 

  1. Slice and Serve
    Unwrap the rolls and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy.
