Pepper Jelly & Cream Cheese Pinwheels
Festive Tortilla Rolls with a Sweet-and-Spicy Twist
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup pepper jelly
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro)
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling
In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. - Assemble the Pinwheels
Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the tortilla. - Add the Toppings
Spoon a thin layer of pepper jelly over the cream cheese. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and sliced bell peppers. - Roll and Chill
Tightly roll the tortilla into a log. Repeat with the remaining tortillas. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Slice and Serve
Unwrap the rolls and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy.
