Christmas Eve Cinnamon Crisps
Light, sweet, and perfectly crisp—these cinnamon-sugar treats are an easy holiday favorite!

Ingredients
- 6 large flour tortillas
(or puff pastry sheets for a richer version) - ¼ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1–1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Optional:
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Honey or caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions (Tortilla Version)
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line one or two baking sheets with parchment paper. - Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon until evenly combined. - Brush with Butter
Lay tortillas flat on the baking sheets.
Brush each tortilla evenly with melted butter. - Add the Topping
Sprinkle generously with cinnamon-sugar mixture, covering the entire surface. - Cut into Shapes
Use a pizza cutter to slice tortillas into wedges, triangles, or strips. - Bake
Bake for 8–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Watch closely—they brown quickly! - Cool & Serve
Let cool for 5 minutes to fully crisp up.
Dust lightly with powdered sugar if desired.
Puff Pastry Option
- Thaw puff pastry according to package directions.
- Brush with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, cut, and bake at 400°F (205°C) for 12–15 minutes, until puffed and golden.
Tips
- For extra crunch, sprinkle a little sugar on the pan before placing tortillas.
- Store cooled crisps in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
