Strawberry Moonshine/Hooch.

 

Yes, I cook it with the alcohol. No, I’m not interested in debating if the alcohol stays, it does. If you doubt, either try it yourself or scroll on past.

 

 

 

Do not do this recipe on a stovetop, or near any open flames.

I made this in a 6 quart Lux.

4 Cups of Water

2 Cups of Sugar

2 Pounds of Strawberries

5 Cups of Vodka (or Everclear)

 

 

 

Washed and topped the strawberries.

Put it all in the IP in that order.

Hit manual, 30 min on high

Let it natural release (took 90 min)

 

 

 

Using an immersion blender, I blended all the strawberries.

Put into bottles.

Keep in dark cool place (I keep it in my pantry)

Refrigerate before serving … best served over ice (or blended with ice for a dacquiri-like drink).
