The Best Dip in the World
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream (light works fine)
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ cup sliced green onion
Directions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400º F (200º C). This ensures the dip cooks evenly.
Mix Ingredients
In a clean mixing bowl, combine:
Cream cheese
Sour cream
Cheddar cheese
Crumbled bacon
Green onion
Mix well with a spoon until everything is evenly incorporated. You can also use a whisk or a low-speed electric mixer if you prefer, but the dip should remain slightly chunky from the bacon and green onions.
Prepare Baking Dish
Grease a 1-quart baking dish with butter or cooking spray. (Optional: You can also line it with aluminum foil for easier cleanup.)
Bake
Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the dip is hot.
Serve
