Peach Bourbon Holiday Party Meatballs
Sweet, smoky, sticky, and the ultimate holiday appetizer!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen homestyle meatballs (or homemade)
- 1 cup peach preserves or peach jam
- ½ cup bourbon
- Teen-friendly option: Replace with ¼ cup apple cider + 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (sweet, smoky, or your favorite)
Instructions
1. Make the Sauce
In a medium bowl, whisk together:
- Peach preserves
- BBQ sauce
- Bourbon (or the non-alcohol alternative)
Mix until smooth and fully combined.
2. Add Meatballs
Place the frozen meatballs into:
- A slow cooker,
- Or a large pot on the stove.
Pour the sauce mixture over the top and stir to coat evenly.
3. Cook
Choose your method:
Slow Cooker:
- LOW for 4 hours
- or HIGH for 2 hours
Stovetop:
- Simmer on low heat for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Cook until the sauce is thick, glossy, and sticky.
4. Serve
Serve warm with toothpicks or over rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles.
They stay warm beautifully in a slow cooker for parties!
Optional Add-ons
- Add a splash of Worcestershire for depth
- Add ½–1 teaspoon chili flakes for heat
- Stir in 2 tablespoons brown sugar for extra sweetness
- Garnish with green onions
