Servings: 4
Ingredients
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 can (300g / 10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
1/2 cup milk or water
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a glass baking dish.
Shape the Patties
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form into oval or round patties. Season lightly with salt and pepper, then place them in the baking dish.
Prepare the Sauce
In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and milk (or water) until smooth.
Assemble
Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the raw beef patties, making sure they’re well coated.
Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 40–50 minutes, until the patties are cooked through and tender. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes if you’d like the sauce to thicken slightly.

Spoon the rich mushroom gravy over each patty before serving.
