Watermelon Moonshine Recipe
A simple Watermelon Moonshine recipe that can be enjoyed as a refreshing, fruity drink or used as a base to make cocktails and shots with watermelon flavor.
Watermelon Moonshine Recipe?
First of all, this Watermelon Moonshine tastes like sweet watermelon and is really refreshing on a hot day. You can drink it by itself or enjoy it with some desserts. It’s also perfect as a base for making shots, cool cocktails, or even jellies. Since the recipe is simple, why not make it and enjoy it your way?
Ingredients
1 medium-sized watermelon
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of water
1 lemon, juiced
2 cups of high-proof alcohol (I used Everclear)
Step 1:
First, Cut the watermelon into pieces and take out the seeds. Then, Blend the pieces until they’re smooth.
Step 2:
Pour the blended watermelon through a strainer to get smooth juice, removing the pulp.
Step 3:
Now, Heat sugar and water in a pot, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that Let it cool.
Step 4:
In a jar, mix the watermelon juice, syrup, lemon juice, and Everclear. You can even add mint if you like, I didn’t use it for my recipe.
Step 5:
Put the jar in the fridge for at least 4 hours. You can Serve it cold or use later it to make shots and cocktails.
Some Tips!
If you want a lighter drink, reduce the amount of alcohol or use a lower-proof option.
Adding mint leaves gives a refreshing touch, but you can skip them if you prefer.
