Natural Pest Control Spray (Fleas, Ants & Cockroaches)

Natural Pest Control Spray (Fleas, Ants & Cockroaches)
Ingredients
1 cup liquid dish detergent
2 cups ethyl alcohol (or apple cider vinegar as a milder option)
2 tablespoons whole cloves
¼ cup water
Preparation
Crush the cloves (optional but recommended).
Lightly crush the whole cloves using the back of a spoon or a mortar and pestle. This releases their natural oils, which help repel insects.
Mix the liquids.
In a medium bowl or jar, combine:
2 cups ethyl alcohol (or apple cider vinegar)
¼ cup water
Add the dish detergent.
Pour in 1 cup of liquid dish detergent and stir slowly so it blends without creating too much foam.
Add the cloves.
Stir in the 2 tablespoons of whole (or crushed) cloves.
Let it infuse.
Cover the container and let the mixture sit for at least 2–4 hours (overnight works even better). This allows the clove oils to infuse into the solution.
Strain (optional).
If you want a smoother spray, strain out the cloves before using.
Transfer to a spray bottle.
Pour the mixture into a clean spray bottle for easy application.
How to Use
For ants and cockroaches:
Spray along baseboards, corners, under sinks, behind appliances, and near entry points.
For fleas:
Lightly spray floors, carpets, pet bedding, and furniture (test a small area first to avoid staining).
Repeat every 1–2 days for the first week, then weekly for prevention.
Helpful Tips
Keep the spray away from eyes and food surfaces.
If you have pets, let sprayed areas dry before they return.
Clean crumbs and standing water in your home to make the treatment more effective.
