Cherry Pie Crockpot Moonshine

 

 

Ingredients

High-proof alcohol

4 cups cherry juice

2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

 

Instructions

Combine Ingredients: In your crockpot, combine the cherry juice, pitted cherries, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon sticks.

Cook: Set the crockpot to low and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. This will help the flavors meld together and create a rich, cherry pie-like base.

Cool: Turn off the crockpot and let the mixture cool to room temperature.

Add Alcohol: Once cooled, add the high-proof alcohol, almond extract, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.

Bottle: Using a funnel, pour the cherry pie moonshine into mason jars or glass bottles. Seal tightly and let it sit for at least one week to allow the flavors to develop fully
