Golden Cheesy Tuna Bites

Golden Cheesy Tuna Bites (3-Ingredient, Low-Carb & Irresistible) 🧀
These warm, savory tuna bites were a staple at Grandma’s gatherings—simple, comforting, and always the first to disappear. This updated version keeps that same melt-in-your-mouth goodness but simplifies things even more with just three ingredients and a low-carb twist. Perfect for busy evenings, quick snacks, or crowd-pleasing appetizers, these cheesy tuna bakes come together effortlessly and deliver big flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
2 cans (about 10 oz / 280g total) tuna, drained
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
1 large egg
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin or line a baking tray.
In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, shredded cheese, and egg. Mix until well blended.
Scoop small portions of the mixture and shape into bite-sized mounds or press into the muffin tin.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden on the edges and set in the center.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Serving Ideas
Serve these tuna bites hot, straight from the oven, while the cheese is still gooey and the edges are lightly crisp. Pair them with crunchy raw vegetables and ranch dip, or enjoy them alongside a fresh green salad for a light meal.
They also shine on appetizer platters with olives, pickles, and sliced cucumbers. For something more filling, spoon them over sautéed spinach or roasted broccoli. If you’re not strictly low-carb, try them in lettuce wraps or with whole grain crackers for a satisfying crunch.
Tips
Add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor (optional).
Use a mix of cheeses for a richer taste.
Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven for best texture.
