Ingredients
4 bone-in beef chops
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Pat the beef chops dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and onion powder.
Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the beef chops. Let them marinate for 15–20 minutes for extra flavor.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the beef chops and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
Add the butter during the last minute of cooking and spoon the melted glaze over the chops.
Remove from heat and let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
