Baked Apple Cinnamon Protein Donuts – Sweet & Gluten-Free!
Yields: 12 donuts
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup peeled, diced apples

Approx. 120 kcal | 6g protein | 5g fat | 12g carbs
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Gently fold in the diced apples. Spoon the batter into the donut pan.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
