Ultimate Cheesy Nacho Casserole Bake

A rich, comforting, and crowd-pleasing casserole loaded with seasoned beef, crunchy tortilla chips, and layers of gooey melted cheese.

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tsp taco seasoning

1 can Rotel tomatoes, drained

1 bag tortilla chips (lightly crushed)

1 can cheddar cheese sauce

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion until browned and tender. Drain excess fat.

Add the taco seasoning and drained Rotel tomatoes, then stir well and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.

In a baking dish, spread a layer of crushed tortilla chips.

Spoon half of the beef mixture over the chips, then drizzle with cheddar cheese sauce.

Sprinkle a generous layer of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

Repeat the layers once more, finishing with cheese on top.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

 

 

 

Serving Tip:

Top with sour cream, jalapeños, or fresh cilantro for an extra kick.
