CHEESECAKE CRESCENT ROLLS CASSEROLE

INGREDIENTS
Crescent Layers
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Cheesecake Filling
2 blocks (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Butter Topping
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Cinnamon Sugar Topping (Highly Recommended)
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Optional Add-Ins
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Fresh berries or pie filling (cherry, blueberry, strawberry)
Lemon zest or almond extract
Honey or caramel drizzle
EQUIPMENT
9×13-inch baking dish
Mixing bowls
Hand mixer or whisk

INSTRUCTIONS
1️⃣ PREHEAT & PREP
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F)
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
2️⃣ BOTTOM CRESCENT LAYER
Open 1 can of crescent dough.
Unroll and press dough into the bottom of the baking dish.
Pinch seams together to seal completely.
3️⃣ MAKE THE CHEESECAKE FILLING
In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
Add 1 cup sugar and beat until fully combined.
Mix in vanilla extract.
Spread cheesecake mixture evenly over the bottom crescent layer.
4️⃣ TOP CRESCENT LAYER
Unroll the second can of crescent dough.
Carefully lay it over the cheesecake filling.
Gently press seams together (it’s okay if it’s not perfect).
5️⃣ BUTTER & CINNAMON SUGAR
Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup sugar + cinnamon.
Sprinkle generously over the buttered top.
6️⃣ BAKE
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until:
Top is golden brown
Center is set
If browning too fast, loosely cover with foil.
7️⃣ COOL & SERVE
Cool at least 20 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm or chilled.
Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
VARIATIONS
Fruit Swirl: Add spoonfuls of pie filling over the cheesecake layer before topping
Lemon Cheesecake: Add 1 tbsp lemon juice + zest
Pumpkin Spice: Add ½ cup pumpkin puree + 1 tsp pumpkin spice
Chocolate Chip: Fold ½ cup mini chocolate chips into filling
STORAGE
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container up to 4 days
