Ingredients
400 g pasta (penne or rigatoni)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
400 g ground beef or Italian sausage
2 cups tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ cup parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
Cook the pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.
Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce until fully coated.
Transfer everything to a baking dish and top generously with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted, golden, and bubbling beautifully.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
