Ingredients
12 large button or cremini mushrooms, stems removed
12 slices bacon, cut in half
4 ounces (115 g) cream cheese, softened
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Clean the mushrooms by wiping them gently with a damp paper towel. Remove the stems and set the caps aside.
Fill each mushroom cap with about 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese.
Wrap each stuffed mushroom with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
Arrange the mushrooms seam-side down in the prepared baking dish or on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the mushrooms are tender.
For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching carefully.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm with toothpicks for easy entertaining.
