Fluffy Baked Cottage Cheese Egg Delight

A creamy, protein-packed baked egg dish that’s light, fluffy, and endlessly customizable. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick healthy dinner!

 

 

 

Ingredients

4 large eggs

1 cup cottage cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp milk (optional, for extra creaminess)

1 tbsp butter or olive oil (for greasing)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)

Optional Add-Ins:

Fresh spinach (chopped)

Mushrooms (lightly sautéed)

Cherry tomatoes (halved)

Cooked chicken or turkey (diced)

Fresh herbs like parsley, dill, or chives

 

 

 

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a small baking dish or individual ramekins with butter or olive oil.

2. Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk together:

Cottage cheese

Eggs

Milk (if using)

Garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Whisk until mostly smooth—some texture from the cottage cheese is perfectly fine.

3. Add Flavor & Texture

Fold in the shredded cheese along with your favorite add-ins like veggies or cooked protein.

4. Bake to Perfection

Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and sprinkle a little extra cheese on top.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
