Ultimate Molten Chocolate Lava Brownies

Ingredients

1 cup dark chocolate, chopped

½ cup unsalted butter

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs (room temperature)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon salt

Extra chocolate chunks (for the molten center)

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

Set your oven to 175°C (350°F). Lightly grease a small baking dish or individual ramekins for a more elegant presentation.

Melt Chocolate & Butter

In a heatproof bowl, melt the chopped chocolate and butter together (using a microwave or double boiler), stirring until smooth and glossy.

Mix the Batter

Add the sugar to the melted mixture and stir well. Whisk in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and slightly thickened.

Add Dry Ingredients

Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies soft and fudgy.

Create the Lava Center

Pour half of the batter into your prepared dish or ramekins. Add a few extra chocolate chunks in the center, then cover with the remaining batter.

Bake to Perfection

Bake for 12–15 minutes. The edges should be set, while the center remains soft and slightly underbaked.

Serve Warm
