Golden Cheesy Ham & Pasta Bake – The Ultimate Comfort Dish

This creamy, cheesy ham and pasta bake is the perfect way to turn simple ingredients into a rich, satisfying meal. Loaded with tender pasta, savory ham, and melted cheese, it’s a cozy dish the whole family will love.

 

 

 

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked pasta (rotini or penne work best)

2 cups diced cooked ham

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a cheese blend)

1 can (10.5 oz / 300g) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

1 tablespoon melted butter (for topping)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Prepare the sauce:

In a large bowl, mix the cream soup, milk, sour cream (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

 

 

 

 

Combine ingredients:

Add the cooked pasta, diced ham, and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese to the sauce. Mix everything well until evenly coated.

Assemble the bake:

Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Add topping:

Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. For a crispy finish, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese.

Bake:

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden, melted cheese topping.

Serve:

Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

Tip: Add peas, mushrooms, or broccoli for extra flavor and nutrition.
