Hearty Beef Chili with Beans – Spicy or Mild, Always Delicious!

 

A warm, flavorful chili loaded with tender ground beef, beans, and bold spices—perfect for game day, cozy nights, or easy meal prep. Make it your way: spicy or mild!

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

1️⃣ 1 tbsp olive oil

2️⃣ 1 lb ground beef

3️⃣ 1 onion, diced

4️⃣ 3 cloves garlic, minced

5️⃣ 2 tbsp chili powder (adjust for spice)

6️⃣ 1 tsp cumin

7️⃣ 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

8️⃣ 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

9️⃣ Salt and pepper to taste

🔟 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

1️⃣1️⃣ 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

1️⃣2️⃣ 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1️⃣3️⃣ 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1️⃣4️⃣ 1/2 cup beef broth or water

1️⃣5️⃣ Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, jalapeños

 

 

 

Instructions:

 

1️⃣ Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

2️⃣ Add diced onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes, until soft. Stir in garlic and cook another minute.

3️⃣ Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the meat and onions.

4️⃣ Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, and beef broth. Stir to combine.

5️⃣ Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, cover partially, and cook for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6️⃣ Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve hot with your favorite toppings!

 

 

 

 

Serving Tip: Great with cornbread, over baked potatoes, or topped with crushed tortilla chips!
