Ingredients

220 g tagliatelle pasta

300 g ground beef (or your favorite ground meat)

100 g onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

400 g canned crushed tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

120 ml beef broth or water

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat if needed.

Mix in the tomato paste, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and broth. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.

Reduce the heat and let the sauce cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and flavorful.

Add the cooked tagliatelle to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. If needed, add a splash of the reserved pasta water for a silkier sauce.

Garnish with fresh parsley and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
