PawPaw’s Peach Cobbler Moonshine
When the evenings get cool and the holidays are just around the corner, nothing warms you up like a homemade “Peach Cobbler” drink. Smooth, cozy, and bursting with flavor, it’s the kind of drink grandma would have served while sharing stories around the kitchen table. The aroma of peaches and cinnamon filling the house is pure heaven!
Ingredients:
- 64 oz white grape peach juice
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 fresh peaches, peeled and cut into wedges
- 3 whole cinnamon sticks
- 1 ½ cups Moonshine, Everclear, or vodka (use high ABV for shelf stability)
- ½ cup peach schnapps
Instructions:
- In a large pot, combine the juice, brown sugar, peaches, and cinnamon sticks.
- Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, stir in the Moonshine (or Everclear/vodka) and peach schnapps.
- Refrigerate the drink for 24 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.
- If storing for an extended time, remove most of the peaches and cinnamon sticks, as they will eventually break down.
Serving Tip: Enjoy straight from a mason jar for a rustic feel, or pour into a fancy glass for a festive touch.
