Ingredients
1 ripe banana (preferably organic if using the peel)
1 cup (250 ml) water
1 cinnamon stick (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
Instructions
Pour the water into a small pot and bring it to a boil.
While waiting, wash the banana thoroughly.
Cut the banana into slices, or simply trim both ends and leave it whole (with peel if preferred).
Once the water is boiling, add the banana and cinnamon.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow it to steep for 3–5 minutes.
Strain the liquid into a cup.
Drink warm, especially in the evening before bed.
