1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, beef broth, and black pepper until smooth. Set aside.

Cook the Beef Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the sliced beef in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and just cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Stir in the onion and bell pepper, cooking for 2 minutes until slightly tender. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the Cabbage Toss in the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, until it begins to soften but still retains a slight crunch.

Combine Everything Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Pour in the prepared sauce and toss everything together until well coated. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and glazes the beef and vegetables.

Finish and Serve Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, if using. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
