Ingredients:
For the Vanilla Cake:
1 box vanilla cake mix
3 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
For the Cheesecake Layer:
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Cake Layers:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line two round cake pans.
In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, and milk until smooth. Divide the batter evenly between the pans and bake according to package instructions (about 25–30 minutes). Let the cakes cool completely.
2. Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
(Optional: For a firmer texture, chill the mixture in the fridge for 30–60 minutes.)
3. Assemble the Cake:
Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly on top.
Add a layer of sliced strawberries over the cheesecake filling.
Place the second cake layer on top.
4. Decorate:
Spread whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake.
Garnish with extra strawberries for a beautiful finish.
