Ingredients (200 ml glass cup)
3 eggs
A pinch of salt
150 g sugar (about 4/5 cup)
150 ml vegetable oil (3/4 cup)
150 ml milk (3/4 cup)
250–300 g all-purpose flour (about 2 to 2½ cups)
10–12 g baking powder (2 tsp)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional but recommended)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a cake pan or line it with baking paper.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt until the mixture becomes light and slightly frothy.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth and well combined.
Sift in the flour and baking powder gradually, mixing gently until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.
Pour the batter into your prepared pan and level the surface.
Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 10–15 minutes before removing it from the pan.
