12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions (or oven-ready noodles)

3–4 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

15 oz (425g) ricotta cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken broth

2 cups whole milk or half-and-half

½ teaspoon salt, or to taste

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Whisk in the flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to form a smooth roux.

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until smooth.

Step 2: Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

Mix until well blended.

Step 3: Assemble the Lasagna

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce across the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Arrange a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
