3-Ingredient Cheesy Tortellini Bake

A cozy, comforting casserole that takes almost no effort. The tortellini bake right in the sauce, soaking up flavor while the cheese melts into a bubbly, golden layer on top. Perfect for busy days when you want something warm and homemade without much work.

 

 

 

Ingredients (Serves 4)

1 package (20–24 oz / 560–680 g) refrigerated cheese tortellini

1 jar (24 oz / about 700 g) marinara sauce

1½–2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Optional (for extra flavor):

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Combine tortellini and sauce

Place the cheese tortellini in a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.

Pour the marinara sauce over the tortellini and stir gently so everything is coated evenly.

Add the cheese topping

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly across the top.

If using Parmesan or Italian seasoning, sprinkle it over the cheese.

Bake

Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.

Rest and serve

Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving so it thickens slightly.
