Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish.
Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the dish.
Spread the ground beef evenly over the potatoes.
Spoon the cream of mushroom soup over the beef and spread gently.
Add the remaining potato slices on top.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 60 minutes.
Remove the foil, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
