Sheet Pan Caramel Apples

Sheet Pan Caramel Apples

Ingredients:

4 large apples, sliced

1 cup caramel sauce

1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted

1/4 cup chopped peanuts (or your favorite nuts)

1/4 cup mini marshmallows

1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)

1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (optional)

1/4 tsp sea salt (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

Prep the Apples:

Wash and core the apples. Slice them into wedges about 1/2–3/4 inch thick. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture (this helps the caramel stick better).

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.

Arrange Apple Slices:

Spread the apple slices evenly on the prepared sheet pan. Make sure they are not overlapping too much.

Drizzle Caramel:

Pour the caramel sauce over the apple slices, making sure each slice gets a good coating. You can use a spoon or a small spatula to spread it evenly.

Add Chocolate & Toppings:

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-coated apples.

Sprinkle chopped peanuts, mini marshmallows, graham crackers, and/or sprinkles over the top.

Bake:

Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven for 5–7 minutes, just until the marshmallows start to puff and the caramel warms through. Keep an eye on them—marshmallows can burn quickly!

Finish & Garnish:

Remove the pan from the oven and let the apples cool slightly.

If desired, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt over the top to enhance the flavors.

Serve:

Serve warm for gooey deliciousness or let cool completely for a firmer caramel apple treat.

Tips:

You can swap nuts for shredded coconut or crushed cookies.

For extra chocolatey goodness, drizzle both milk and white chocolate.

If caramel hardens too quickly, you can warm it slightly in the microwave before serving.
