Ingredients

1 large bag frozen French fries (28–32 oz)

2 pounds ground beef (80/20 recommended)

2 cans Manwich sloppy joe sauce

2 pouches Velveeta cheese sauce

½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Sour cream (for topping)

Optional Toppings:

Shredded cheddar cheese

Diced green onions

Pickles

Jalapeños

Crispy bacon bits

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Fries

Preheat oven according to fry package directions (usually 400–425°F).

Spread fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Bake until golden and crispy (usually 20–30 minutes).

Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350°F.

2️⃣ Prepare the Sloppy Joe Meat

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.

Drain excess grease.

Season lightly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Stir in both cans of Manwich sauce.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick and bubbly.

3️⃣ Assemble

Transfer cooked fries to a large oven-safe baking dish (or keep on sheet pan).

Evenly pour warmed Velveeta cheese sauce over the fries.

Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly on top.

4️⃣ Bake

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes to melt everything together.

If adding shredded cheese, sprinkle on top before baking.

5️⃣ Finish & Serve

Remove from oven.

Top with a generous dollop of sour cream.

Add any extra toppings you love.

Serve immediately while hot and cheesy!

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in airtight container up to 3 days.

Reheat in oven at 350°F until warmed through (microwave works but fries soften).
