For the pork chops
4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Optional (for extra flavor)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the coating
In a bowl, mix together:
Parmesan cheese
Breadcrumbs
Garlic
Paprika
Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper
Onion powder (optional)
Prepare the pork chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil or melted butter so the coating sticks well.
Coat the pork chops
Press each pork chop into the Parmesan mixture, coating both sides evenly.
Arrange for baking
Place the coated pork chops in the prepared baking dish or on the baking sheet.
Bake
Bake for 18–25 minutes, depending on thickness, until the pork is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy.
Internal temperature should reach 63°C (145°F).
Rest and serve
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Serving Ideas
These pork chops pair perfectly with:
Garlic mashed potatoes
Roasted vegetables
Rice or buttered noodles
Fresh salad
Tip: For an extra crispy crust, switch the oven to broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
