Ingredients
2 cups fresh blackberries (or frozen, thawed)
2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 8–10 lemons)
1½ cups simple syrup (1½ cups water + 1½ cups sugar)
1 cup water
2 cups Everclear (or high-proof vodka)
1 cup regular vodka (optional, for smoother sipping)
1 tablespoon lemon zest
Optional: fresh blackberries and lemon slices for garnishTip: Fresh, ripe blackberries give the best color and flavor, but frozen berries work perfectly if needed.

Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
Large pitcher or mixing bowl
Mason jars or glass bottles
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Blackberry Lemon Base
In a saucepan, combine the blackberries, lemon juice, lemon zest, and water.Bring to a light simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 10 minutes until the berries soften and release their juices.
Step 2: Add the Simple Syrup
Stir in the simple syrup. Simmer for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 3: Cool and Strain
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher.Press lightly to extract as much liquid as possible without forcing too much pulp.
Step 4: Add the Booze
Once completely cooled, stir in the Everclear and vodka (if using).
Mix thoroughly.
Note: Want it stronger? Use all Everclear. Want it smoother? Add more vodka or a little extra water.
Step 5: Bottle and Refrigerate
Pour your Blackberry Lemonade Moonshine into mason jars or bottles. Seal tightly and store in the refrigerator
Storing and Serving
Refrigeration: Keep it refrigerated. Good for up to 3 months.
