Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

12 oz (340 g) smoked sausage, sliced

1 small head green cabbage, cut into wedges or thick slices

3 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp Cajun seasoning

½ tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for serving

For Serving

Steamed white rice

Fresh garden salad with your favorite dressing

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Arrange the cabbage on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Roast for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until tender and lightly caramelized.

While the cabbage roasts, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the smoked sausage and cook for 4–5 minutes until browned.

Stir in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the shrimp, season with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then cook for 2–3 minutes per side, just until pink and juicy.

Add the roasted cabbage to the skillet and gently toss everything together so the vegetables are coated in the flavorful garlic butter.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
