Creamy Spinach Chicken Lasagna

A rich, comforting baked lasagna layered with tender chicken, creamy sauce, melted cheese, and fresh spinach — perfect for a cozy family dinner.

 

 

 

Ingredients

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt & black pepper, to taste

2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)

2 cups fresh spinach (chopped)

9–12 lasagna noodles (cooked)

2 cups ricotta or cream cheese

2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups béchamel or creamy white sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

 

 

 

Instructions

Prepare the filling:

Heat olive oil in a pan. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shredded chicken, spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until well combined.

Make it creamy:

Stir in half of the ricotta (or cream cheese) to the chicken mixture and mix until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the lasagna:

In a baking dish, spread a layer of white sauce, then noodles, then chicken-spinach mixture, followed by mozzarella. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.

Top layer:

Finish with white sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake:

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbling.

 

 

 

Rest & serve:

Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing for perfect layers
