Ingredients
4 pork chops
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Pour the glaze over the pork chops.
Spoon some of the sauce over the chops, then transfer the skillet to the oven.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and tender.
Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes. Spoon the thick maple glaze over the top before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice.
Sweet, savory, buttery, and absolutely irresistible!
