Introduction

Golden, crispy, and loaded with melted cheese, this Cheesy Garlic Bread is the ultimate comfort side dish. With a buttery garlic spread and gooey cheese baked over crusty bread, it’s perfect for pasta nights, soups, parties, or simply enjoying warm from the oven. Easy to make and impossible to resist!

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread or Italian bread

4 tablespoons butter, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: red pepper flakes for extra flavor

 

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking tray.

In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.

Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously on top.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

For a crispier golden top, broil for 1–2 extra minutes.

Slice and serve warm.

Add sliced olives, cooked bacon, or jalapeños for extra flavor.

Use parmesan cheese for a richer taste.
