Butter Toffee Pretzels

Perfect for parties and gift-giving!

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 5 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 8 oz Heath English toffee bits

 

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the mini pretzels evenly across the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir continuously until the mixture begins to bubble.
  4. Once bubbling, let it cook for 3 minutes without stirring.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and baking soda. The mixture will foam up—this is normal.
  6. Immediately pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels and toss gently to coat.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then remove from the oven and sprinkle the toffee bits over the hot pretzels.
  8. Allow everything to cool completely, then break apart and enjoy!
