Ingredients:
4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Red and green sprinkles, for decoration
Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
3. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
4. Immediately fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
5. Let the mixture cool slightly until it is safe to handle.
6. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
7. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
8. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
9. Dip each Rice Krispie ball into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
10. Return the dipped balls to the wax paper and sprinkle with red and green sprinkles for a festive finish.
11. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
