Clove Infusion Drink (for Circulation & Warmth)

 

Ingredients (1–2 servings)

3–4 whole cloves

2 cups water

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

A few drops of lemon juice (optional)

Optional add-ins:

2–3 slices fresh ginger

½ cinnamon stick

1 slice orange peel (fresh)

 

 

 

 

Preparation Steps

Boil the water

Pour 2 cups of water into a small pot and bring to a gentle boil.

Add the cloves

Drop in the whole cloves (and ginger or cinnamon if using).

Simmer slowly

Reduce heat and let simmer for 8–10 minutes.

This releases the aroma and beneficial compounds without bitterness.

Strain the drink

Remove from heat and strain into a cup.

Finish gently

Add honey or lemon only after the drink cools slightly.

Drink warm

Sip slowly, preferably in the morning or evening.

Clove essential oil is very concentrated and should only be used:

1 drop clove oil + 1 tablespoon carrier oil (olive, coconut)

Use for massage to promote warmth
