Cooking Instructions

Prepare slow cooker

Lightly grease a 6-quart slow cooker with oil or cooking spray.

Transfer the steak and potato mixture into the slow cooker.

Spread it into an even layer for even cooking.

Cook

Cover and cook on:

Low: 6–7 hours (best for tender steak)

High: 3–4 hours (if short on time)

Potatoes should be soft and steak tender when done.

Add the “Loaded” Toppings

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

Add cooked bacon bits.

Cover again and let sit for 10–15 minutes until cheese melts.

Serving

Serve hot with:

A dollop of sour cream

Fresh green onions on top

Tips for Best Results

Sear the steak first (optional): Gives deeper flavor.

Don’t overcook: Steak can become too soft if left too long.

Add veggies: Bell peppers or mushrooms work great.

Cheese swap: Try mozzarella or pepper jack for a twist.
