Breakfast Time! Garlic Butter Steak and Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Steak:
Pat the steak cubes dry using paper towels. Season evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Sear the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces in a single layer and sear for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preference. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter:
Lower the heat to medium. In the same pan, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until aromatic, then return the steak bites to the pan. Toss to coat them well in the garlic butter.
  4. Cook the Eggs:
Move the steak to one side of the skillet. Crack the eggs into the empty side and cook sunny side up—or however you like them. Spoon a bit of the garlic butter over the eggs for extra flavor.

  1. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle dried parsley over the dish and serve hot straight from the pan for a hearty, satisfying breakfast.
