Warm cinnamon adds a cozy flavor, while a light dusting of powdered sugar creates a beautiful bakery-style finish. Ingredients

3–4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch (20 cm) baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.

Add the eggs and beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until a smooth batter forms.

Gently fold in the diced apples, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Once cooled, dust generously with powdered sugar if desired.

Serving Suggestions

Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Drizzle with caramel sauce for an extra indulgent dessert.

Pair with hot coffee, tea, or a glass of cold milk.

🍏 Baker’s Tip
