Ingredients
Chocolate Layer
1 cup grated milk chocolate
1 cup milk
Cream Layer
1 carton (8 oz / 225 ml) heavy cream
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
Passion Fruit Layer
1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup concentrated passion fruit juice
1 carton (8 oz / 225 ml) heavy cream
Optional Garnish
Chocolate shavings
Fresh passion fruit pulp
Whipped cream
Mint leaves
Instructions
1. Prepare the Chocolate Layer
In a saucepan, combine the grated milk chocolate and milk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Pour into a glass serving dish and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until slightly set.
2. Make the Cream Layer
In a saucepan, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, and cornstarch. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens into a smooth cream. Let it cool slightly, then spread evenly over the chilled chocolate layer. Refrigerate for another 20 minutes.
3. Prepare the Passion Fruit Cream
In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, passion fruit juice, and heavy cream. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour over the cream layer and smooth the top with a spatula.
4. Chill and Serve
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best texture and flavor. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings, fresh passion fruit pulp, or whipped cream if desired.
