Maple Brown Sugar Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin
Juicy pork tenderloin wrapped in crispy bacon and coated with a rich brown sugar glaze — this sweet and savory dinner is packed with flavor and perfect for family meals, holidays, or cozy weekend dinners.
Ingredients
1½ to 2 lbs pork tenderloin or pork loin
8–10 slices bacon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pork
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the pork dry with paper towels and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. Wrap with Bacon
Wrap the bacon slices around the pork tenderloin, slightly overlapping each slice. Place the wrapped pork in a lightly greased baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
3. Add the Brown Sugar Glaze
Rub the brown sugar all over the bacon-covered pork. For extra flavor, brush the pork lightly with Dijon mustard before adding the sugar.
4. Bake
Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
5. Caramelize the Top
For crispy caramelized bacon, broil the pork for 2–3 minutes at the end of cooking. Watch carefully so the sugar doesn’t burn.
6. Rest and Serve
Let the pork rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Tips
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a sweet-and-spicy version.
Use maple syrup for extra caramelized flavor.
Leftovers make amazing sandwiches the next day.
Sweet, smoky, crispy, and incredibly tender — this bacon brown sugar pork is comfort food at its best!
