Made with just four simple ingredients, it’s rich, creamy, and wonderfully satisfying. Tender pasta, savory seasoned beef, and plenty of melted cheese come together in one bubbling, golden bake that feels like a warm hug on a plate.

Perfect for Mother’s Day or any busy evening, this casserole lets you enjoy more time with family while the oven does all the work. Pair it with a crisp green salad, steamed vegetables, or warm dinner rolls for a complete and comforting meal.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

2 cups uncooked pasta (such as elbow macaroni or rotini)

1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions until just al dente. Drain well.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked pasta, and condensed cream of mushroom soup. Stir until evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden around the edges.

Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with a fresh green salad, roasted broccoli, or steamed green beans. Add warm crusty bread or soft dinner rolls to soak up every bit of the creamy, cheesy sauce.

Tips

For extra flavor, use sharp cheddar cheese.

Swap cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken or cream of celery if preferred.

Leftovers reheat beautifully, making this a great make-ahead meal.
