Nana’s Fresh Garden Vegetable Spread – A Creamy Homemade Delight

A light, creamy, and refreshing vegetable spread that tastes like it came straight from a countryside garden. Perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or as a dip for fresh veggies.

 

 

 

Ingredients (serves 6–8)

200 g (7 oz) cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt

1 cup finely chopped fresh vegetables (cucumber, bell pepper, carrot, and green onion work great)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)

Salt and black pepper to taste

 

 

 

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.

Add sour cream (or yogurt) and mix until fully combined.

Stir in the finely chopped vegetables and parsley.

Add lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
