Slow Cooker Beef & Noodles (Comfort Crockpot Meal)

Slow Cooker Beef & Noodles (Comfort Crockpot Meal)
This cozy, hearty meal is pure comfort food — tender shredded chuck roast in rich gravy with soft egg noodles. Perfect for a filling family dinner.
Ingredients
2–3 lb chuck roast
4 cups beef broth
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
¼ cup butter (½ stick)
24 oz frozen egg noodles (such as Reames-style)
Optional:
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Roast
Place the chuck roast in the bottom of your crockpot.
Sprinkle the brown gravy mix evenly over the roast.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning packet on top.
Pour in the beef broth.
Add the butter on top of the roast (cut into pieces).
2️⃣ Slow Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours
(or HIGH for 5–6 hours if short on time).
The beef should be very tender and easy to shred.
3️⃣ Shred the Beef
Remove the roast and shred it using two forks.
Return the shredded beef to the crockpot and stir into the gravy.
4️⃣ Add the Noodles
Turn the crockpot to HIGH.
Add the frozen egg noodles directly into the slow cooker.
Stir well so noodles are mostly submerged in the liquid.
Cover and cook for 1 to 1½ hours, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
If mixture becomes too thick, add a splash of warm beef broth.
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with mashed potatoes or crusty bread.
Add a side of green beans or a simple salad.
Tips for Best Flavor
For extra depth, sear the chuck roast in a skillet before adding to the crockpot.
Want it creamier? Stir in ½ cup sour cream at the end.
Taste before serving — you may not need extra salt because the packets add seasoning.
