—
Ingredients (Serves 1–2)
3–4 generous scoops of strawberry ice cream
½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
¼ cup strawberry sauce or slightly warmed strawberry jam
1–2 waffle cones or wafer biscuits, broken into small pieces
Whipped cream (optional, for extra indulgence)
Crushed nuts or cookie crumbs (optional, for crunch)
A light dusting of powdered sugar (optional, for decoration)
—
Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare the strawberries
Rinse and hull the strawberries. Reserve a few whole ones for decoration, and slice the rest.
For enhanced flavor, sprinkle the sliced strawberries with a little sugar and let them sit for about 5 minutes to release their natural juices.
Step 2 – Build the sundae layers
Place one scoop of strawberry ice cream at the bottom of a chilled dessert glass or bowl.
Spoon over some strawberry sauce and a few slices of fresh strawberries.
Add another scoop of ice cream, followed by more sauce and fruit. Continue layering until all scoops are used.
Step 3 – Add the finishing touches
Top the sundae with the reserved whole strawberries.
Sprinkle crushed waffle cones, wafer biscuits, or nuts over the top.
Finish with a swirl of whipped cream and, if desired, a light dusting of powdered sugar for a beautiful presentation.

Tips & Variations
For a richer, creamier base, drizzle a little sweetened condensed milk over the ice cream scoops.
Switch things up by replacing the strawberry sauce with raspberry, blueberry, or mixed berry syrup.
Chill your serving glass in the freezer before assembling to keep the sundae cold and refreshing for longer.
