Instructions

1. Prepare the steak

Take steaks out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before cooking

Pat dry with paper towels

Season generously with salt and pepper

2. Cook the steak

Heat a pan over medium-high heat

Add olive oil

Sear steak for 3–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness and doneness)

3. Add garlic butter

Lower heat slightly

Add butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme

Tilt the pan and spoon the melted butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes

This step gives that rich garlic flavor

4. Rest the steak

Remove from heat

Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing

5. Cook the spaghetti

Boil salted water

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions

Drain and set aside (reserve ½ cup pasta water)

6. Make creamy Parmesan sauce

In a pan, melt butter over medium heat

Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds

Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes

Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted

7. Combine pasta

Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce

Toss well

Add a splash of pasta water if needed for a silky texture

8. Serve

Slice steak against the grain

Plate with creamy spaghetti

Spoon extra garlic butter from the pan over the steak

Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan

Tips for Best Results

Use a hot pan for a perfect sear

Don’t overcrowd the pan

Let steak rest (very important for juicy meat)

Use freshly grated Parmesan for smoother sauce

Variations

Add mushrooms to the sauce

Add chili flakes for a spicy kick

Swap spaghetti for fettuccine or penne

Add spinach for a creamy veggie twist

Serving Ideas

Pair with:

Garlic bread

Fresh salad

Pro Tip
